International Toy Fair Nuremberg 2014 Internationale Spielwarenmesse Nürnberg 2014
At the SpieleGlück evening, an event organised by Schmidt Spiele and Hans im Glück, Schmidt celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Mensch Ärger Dich Nicht game with a large cake.
A card game on majorities and minus points. Each player has five numbered cards in his hands and plays one in his turn. The card is added to a row of six cards. The number of the card played indicates the socalled safe range; beyond this range, the player must take all the cards that have the same colour and also take all cards that have the same or lower value of any other colour.
The player arranges these cards by colour and places them in front of him. There is a last round when the draw pile is depleted; all players have one final turn. Now each player will still have four cards in his hand. He secretly chooses two, after which all players add these cards to their accumulated cards.
Now each majority in cards of every colour scores one minus point per card; all other players score the value of these colour cards in minus points. The player with the least minus points has won.
